┤Appearance├
Valramir does not put too much effort into his appearance. He does not care what other demons think of him, nor what they say about him. He generally keeps his pale hair short for ease of management. It is perpetually messy and it is a rare day when he actually styles it all. His skin is pale since he mostly just stays at home or goes out at night, preferring to sleep when others are up and about working on their territories, power grabs, and useless collecting. His build could be described as lean with minimal muscle tone. He does not exercise or maintain his physic as it takes too much effort when he could be doing more important things; like napping or playing with lesser demons.
He has an almost boyish charm when one first meets him. Valramir's soft angles and quick smile make him appear innocent and childish at times. Other demons consider him to be doe-eyed and absent minded, but there is a hidden cunning beneath the easy façade. However, a sudden sharpness of gaze, interest, or gleeful smile indicate a deeper game or plot brewing behind the sweetness. And much like the rest of him, he has no stock in his fashion sense, simply preferring to wear dark clothing that are comfortable. Most often his clothing consists baggy or large shirts and sweaters permanently marked by wrinkles and folds. Even his more fitted clothing are ruffled. He does harbor some expensive styled clothing he wears when inclined to appear more avant-garde for parties. Whether or not he actually wears it is a toss up.
The demon could mostly pass for human as he does not have the horns, tail, or the more animalistic visage of some demons. His wine-red eyes could be easily disguised, and fangs and ears explained away, not that he really cares about going to the Human realm. The sloth demon however does have a pair of leathery wings on his lower back. They are more for aesthetic than functional purposes as he does not train or fuel his demonic energy to train them. They are fragile, mostly used to glide if he absolutely needed to save himself from falling off something. Most of the time he keeps the wings tucked against his body or hidden beneath his clothing. The only thing that could be considered a 'fashion statement' about him is his bling. He likes sparkly things and is never seen without an assortment of earrings, rings, and bracelets on his person.

Valramir is mostly typical for sloth demons, save for the ambition and strength of will cultured by his mother. His power is his strength and vise as it dampens parts of his personality, which is honestly a good thing. If one were to strip him of his 'slothiness', they would find a demon who very much covets being admired, feared, and worshipped. He is much like pride in his desire to rise above other sloth demons and show the world what a sloth could really accomplish with determination and will. He is self-confident and assured in his strength and position. With his ability of serenity and drowsiness, he could by pass most security and lead even powerful demons down the path of apathy, despair, and suicide. But, since in the end, he is a sloth demon affected by his own aura, Valramir never actually gets far. Valramir begins his challenge of world dominion and presses his influence on others and then after a while... looses interest and convinces himself the effort to obtain this desire and maintain it isn't worth it. This cycle has gone on for so long in his life that Valramir has turned it into a game; how far could he go before he decides that napping, lazing about, or present comforts are far more compelling?
Valramir sees everything as a game and doesn't take anything too seriously. Sloth includes apathy and disregard for anyone or anything but himself. So, he cares little about politics, the world, and the desires of other demons. He does things purely because he finds it entertaining to manipulate the results or out of boredom. His aura makes him see little value in most things that demons find necessary. His lack of purpose or passionate opinion make him seem like a push over. He does let himself be led by others but this is more because he has nothing better to do and he likes watching the world change from the side-lines. He is not a fighter. He's not a coward per say, but he just finds it tedious and a waste of energy. It is far more effective to persuade and manipulate someone than it is to fight them and get bloody and then have to tend injuries and clean up, and ugh. He will only fight if it is absolutely necessary for him to do so and his power hasn't been able to calm his aggressor, which is rare.
Valramir is a cunning demon when he's motivated enough to actually do something. Do not let his warm smile deceive you; there is a viciousness beneath it. He cares about no one and nothing. The world is a playground and despair the twin of idleness. He's led humans and demons to their deaths upon his whim or for those he's contracted with. A sloth may take a while to get going, and their lingering power too is subtle. You may not notice the influence until it is too late to go back and the darkness ensnares you. The fastest hare will not always win against the turtle.

I am easy to understand. Or am I?
┤Likes├
┤Sleeping├─He's the demon of sloth; of course he loves sleeping!
┤Shiny things├─He enjoys bits and bobbles that sparkle and gets easily distracted by them.
┤Games├─Valramir enjoys games, entertainment, anything present and in the moment. Instant gratification is the name of the game. He also is fond of riddles.
┤Hobbies├
┤Sleeping├─Again, comes with the whole 'sloth demon' territory.
┤Manipulation├─When he's not feeling too lazy or sleepy, Valramir enjoys manipulating and influencing people with his power. He likes to see how far he can go before he loses interest.
┤People-watching├─Valramir enjoys kicking back, relaxing, and watching people go about the day. It helps him decide how he is going to deter them or interfere with their work.
┤Dislikes├
┤Exerting effort├─He absolutely hates expending too much energy for anything. He likes coasting on most things and enjoying the free ride; why would he want to do anything else?
┤Orders├─He hates lists, being given orders, or people interrupting his 'fun me time'. Schedules are constricting and opposite of his nature.
┤Overly loud noises├─Valramir has a distaste for anything obnoxiously loud as it hurts his fine hearing, but also startles him. He much prefers the quite.
┤Fears├
┤Bodily Injury/torture├─Valramir doesn't like fighting and does fear losing a limb or getting maimed. He does not like pain.
┤Narcolepsy├─Being a demon of sloth, there are times during the day his aura makes him drowsy. He fears falling asleep at the wrong moment and ending up dead or maimed or in a situation he can't get out of. And he has fallen asleep without intending to before so it is a very real fear for him.
┤Solitary Confinement├─Alone in a room there is no one to influence but himself. It is not so much being alone that is frightening, but the fact that without others to feed upon, he would starve and wither away or put himself to sleep eternally.

┤History├
Valramir was born from a union between a sloth demon, his father, and a wrath demon, his mother. His mother had contracted his father to help her with her control. Eventually the two fell in romantically though there was an understanding it wasn't meant to be a forever pairing. Considering his father's nature, the demon wasn't much in the picture when it came to raising Valramir anyway. It takes responsibility and effort to raise a child or be in a relationship so it wasn't really expected that he would contribute. Once Valramir's mother realized her son was a sloth demon too, there was no need for his father to remain in the picture at all, and really, it was best for everyone. Having two sloth demons around only amplified their effect on everyone around them and put the household in a sleepy stupor. Valramir's earliest memories are of traveling with his mother on her various crusades for more territory. She often talked about her plans and hopes for accumulating more to build a kingdom of her own. Even knowing full well what Valramir was, she tried to inspire something in him and had the desire that her son would take up the mantel of head of house when she died and continue her work, but he didn't find much use in any of it. It was obvious early on that his sloth nature would not give him the fight he needed to grow or maintain the vast territory she had amassed.
Though he had a disdain for fighting, Valramir's mother forced him to learn. She was rising in the ranks and had become a well-known demon of wrath and had enemies. Her son frustrated her, but she wanted him to be able to defend himself and she did care for him. Valramir often shirked his duties in favor of sleeping, but he did enjoy going with his mother to various places and watching how people interacted, and he in turn, loved his mother and is the only real relationship he has had.
Though his mother's dreams did not affect him, her inspiring stories and active lifestyle translated themselves into pride and ambition. With his mother's teachings, Valramir realized that his power was quite useful in a variety of things and his influence could bring down nations. It was inspiring to know that with a bit of will, he could be a demon feared and respected. He began to pride himself in his strong abilities. His mother's influence helped him learn how to control his aura and to an extent, isn't as affected by his aura as many of his kind are. However, he is still a sloth and no matter how many times he tries to do his mother proud by accumulating some fame or territory, he never followed through. Instead of being disheartened by the setback like his mother, he found it funny. He decided to make it a game for himself and see how far he could go, how many he could influence, before he gave up on it.
As he grew, the more his mother left him alone and stopped trying to get him to do anything and the two of them grew distant. Then his mother got herself killed in a battle for territory and Valramir found himself head of the territory and family name. It was far too much responsibility and effort for him. Bit by bit, the territory his mother passed to him slipped through his fingers until all at once, it was gone. He was run off the grounds by the demons that took the territory since he wouldn't fight to keep it. The only thing he kept with him was his mother's name, to remember that once, he too came from a family of repute and to honor his mother and what she had tried to do for him. Without anywhere else to go, he began wandering and influencing people as he went until other demons began to notice the sloth demon in their midst and contracted with them. Valramir took contracts simply because he was bored and for the promise of an easy meal. He ended up part of the organization that collects sloth demons and contracts them to demons who don't have much power and wealth, like young wrath demons, to help them learn control over their powers.
Valramir has gained a little fame on his own, without too much effort, though upon hearing his last name, most demons will know him and his mother's history. He's a strong sloth demon and his influence has helped or hindered many humans and demons simply because he wanted to do it, or because of his variety of contracts. He doesn't try hard to keep the fame and simply does what he does for the enjoyment of it. He may be clever and ambitious, but his nature still gets in the way of him truly accomplishing any 'worthwhile' goal like world domination. The fact that he does have some ambition, apathy, and pride make him more dangerous and volatile than most other sloth demons, and not a demon to trifle with, regardless of his sleepy carefree disposition. He has no purpose but sit back, enjoy the show, and occasionally stir the pot and watch it boil.
