┤Myut’s been after a mysterious weapon rumored to have unusual properties that just so happened to be linked to the downfall of the previous ruler of hell. He’s been snooping around the Prince’s castle during the gala, and, unfortunately, got caught where he most definitely was not supposed to be. This occurred after trading some equally sketchy treasures to get his hands on some clues about it from one or two servants who had been tending the gala. They had been eager to make the exchange and supply the information, but as soon as the assassination plot was discovered, they tattled just as eagerly on him, without mentioning their newfound gains, of course. There had also been one fellow party-goer that he had spoken to, and when questioned, the demon said “Yeah, this guy was asking after some really suspicious item about killing powerful demons or something.” No one mentioned that this guy also knew exactly what Myut was talking about, but that’s besides the point. Myut’s pockets are also still full of awfully strange items that anyone would question why they would be brought to a gala of all places.├

┤Appearance├
Mew is a well-chiseled individual with plenty of toned muscle mass, especially in his arms, chest, and abdomen. He works out often to stay fit and attractive, as he finds both to be a boon in his line of work. After all, it isn’t easy scaling mountains or delving cliffs to find just the right little treasure hiding away, and if you look good, you attract others to yourself – an excellent opportunity to see what they have to offer. Despite expending quite a bit of energy and time to maintain himself in this way, he actually prefers being left alone. After all, the only thing he is interested in are his things, or what will be his. He likes looking good – he may or may not be a bit conceited in this way – and does it for himself above all else.
With very tanned skin and brightly contrasting white hair, Myut is quite exotic-looking, akin to that of Egyptian or Grecian humans. To add to his palatable juxtaposed colors, his eyebrows and eyelashes are that of a dark brown-black, making his olive green eyes pop while also setting off his facial features. They help to draw in the eye to his own gleaming orbs, and once he has you in his sights, he dons a charming smile to invite himself over so he can inspect you. That is, if you have something he wants. Otherwise, Meu is a reserved gentleman and tends to keep to himself, listening in on conversations and keeping his distance from most.
He has soft cheekbones and thin lips with a mildly chiseled and squared jaw. He keeps himself well-groomed and neatly manicured, delighting in adorning himself with gold jewelry to pop against his darker skin tone. Rings are probably his favorite accessory, as he often has several tasteful bands on different fingers on each hand. His nails are carefully kempt and colored with a bone-white polish. Whenever expecting guests or going out and about, Myut’s fluffy hair is always carefully styled. His soft locks come just down to the nape of his neck in the back, and he’s always keeping it in such a design that it parts over his left eye and is combed to the right. He’s got lots of messy layers in his hair which can be a bit difficult to tame at times, but he’s perfected his technique over his many years. When alone in his own home or when relaxing, however, he’ll often simply leave it to lay messily where it may. It depends on his whims for that certain day. He likes to be presentable to others, though.
His public style consists mainly of tailored suits, suit-vests, dress shirts, slacks, and crisp ties, with his business-casual look being many unclasped buttons on a dress-shirt with a classy vest, exposing the hard work that he has put into his body. This is also a common look after a hard day’s work of being a socialite. Otherwise, his comfortable and casual style consists of a plethora of the generic. Nice shirts and trousers, skin-tight and sleeveless shirts for working out (or no shirt), basketball shorts when it’s particularly nice and balmy or while exercising, cute sweaters for when it’s reading time, and the occasional T-shirt and jeans when he’s working on his plants or getting dirty. His secret delight are silly or unusual socks. He also reaaally likes going barefoot, especially in his greenhouse. He's absolutely tickled by the feeling of soft green grass between his toes.
He's got quite the impressive collection of piercings as well. Each ear has four piercings, though he doesn't always wear all of them. His favorite are two small, simple circular gold plates on both lobes, but he can also be found with two to three spheres or trinkets going up the rims of his ears. He definitely adores jewelry and loves mixing his style up with the little accessories. He's got an old lower lip piercing, but he doesn't use it very often if at all. Ah, the whims of youth. He also has two right eyebrow piercings, and perhaps some others hiding elsewhere. But you'll have to discover those for yourself.

Reserved║Elegant║Crazy Passionate║Eclectic║Possessive
Myut is a demon who keeps largely to himself in most situations. Very akin to the norm of his species as a greed demon, Meu is very much a loner, preferring the company of his things to that of people. He’s more of a look-but-don’t-touch policyholder, detesting when others interrupt him while he is busy scoping things out. Contrary to this nature, he does very much love social gatherings as it gives him an excuse to dress himself up nicely and show off his assets. It is also an excellent opportunity to seek possessions, knowledge, and secrets from others as well.
Mew adores possessing secrets and being in-the-know about everything. Knowledge is one of his favorite denominations of greed, and there is no better environment to scoop up dirt on others than on the field with the people themselves. Or the people who detest them the most. Myut is not interested in playing the social game, however, as all he desires is to have the most interesting, unique, and impressive things to show off and feel fulfilled with. And a nice place to put them. He loves the idea of the wealth and prestige that come with the top social intricacies of hell, but honestly he doesn’t have the time nor desire to climb that ladder. He’s got more interesting things to occupy his time with.
Myut loves the high-class life and the fanciful, especially when it comes to champagne and goods. He may be a tad bit gluttonous in this manner. But he fits in very well amidst those of higher social status, so he never looks out of place at a party. He is a seamless background actor at many galas and gatherings, no one ever batting an eye when witnessing his presence there. He loves adorning himself in very refined and classy outfits, so it isn’t out of the ordinary for him to seek places he can go for an excuse to wear such and show off.
This demon is largely driven by his fanciful whims, though mainly his chief motive is going to be the need to have something. If he feels like his collection needs some spicing up, or if he’s heard of something interesting being somewhere, he’ll be there. Otherwise, he’s more than content to stay by himself in his domain amidst his possessions, admiring each and every single one of them, or stuck with his nose deep in a book or ancient tome of some sort – if not planning an adventure or outing to play reconnaissance and recovery for himself or clients.
The way that Myut speaks, holds himself, and moves is all elegance and style. He’s very sure of himself and his stature, so he usually has some sort of self-assured grin on his face. He walks purposefully, with pleasant grace and fluidity in his motion. Mew also takes the utmost care and meticulousness about his style as well, so he always looks good in public, like a masterful piece of art just begging you to come and admire. To appreciate his presence. It’s a bit of a juxtaposition to his preferences, as he likes to stay in the background and go largely unnoticed socially. Keep his distance. Refined and careful are two excellent descriptions for Meu. Well, for the most part.
When something catches his eye, however, Myut seems to transform into a completely different person. As though an unbearably scorching flame has been lit beneath him, Meu turns desperate and very hyper-focused. Personal space is no longer a concept that exists to him, and any shy, uninterested, or reserved feelings about interacting with others fly out the window. He must have his hands on whatever that thing is. Period. And the sooner the better. The greedy void hungers, and the greedy void must be filled. He becomes desperate, impatient, and enthusiastic. He’ll do anything to get that thing he wants.
It is with varying degrees that he is influenced by this unique mannerism, but Myut is a passionate person in general. He loves what he does, loves what he longs for, and loves to put the work in to get whatever that may be. Myut is a demon very much on the straight and narrow when it comes to getting what he wants, though. He will not stoop to such low means as to steal or trick to get what he wants. After all, he is a businessman. And everything has its price. When his eyes settle on something that sparks his interest, it demands fully his adoration, attention, and desire. Myut is fiery and energetic in his passions. When alone, though, Myut has a different persona to that of his public one. Quietly content with himself, and full of admiration and curiosity for that which is around him.
Myut is, naturally, a possessive person. He hates to share if there isn’t any benefit in it for him, and he hates others who eye the most precious pieces of his collection. These things are for him and him alone. He is greedy, materialistic, and acquisitive. He has a ravenous need for things to belong to him, but he honestly has the strangest appetite when it comes to just what it is that sparks his interest. What most people treasure he sees as trash, and vice versa. He seems to manifest value out of thin air. His interests and peculiar pickiness span broad and diverse categories. Most of them originate from the musings of books and the markings of history.
Mementos and artifacts are of particular interest to Myut, and his home is full of them. While wealth as a concept does not interest him at all, coins themselves are very interesting; the older, the better. Especially earth coins. They hail from the ancient eons of past civilization, hidden to the world until he comes to unearth them; like they’re waiting just for him. If it looks cool, Myut wants it. If it’s old, he wants it. Africa, Greece, the deepest belly of hell, he’ll have it all. All it takes is one spark to light that voracious fire. Some things just light it better than others.
He will definitely play up on his looks if he thinks it'll help him gain a better foothold for acquiring things. Despite being greysexual, Myut isn't one to shy away from sexual or intimate encounters, if it means he'll get his hands on that something he really wants. The circumstances have to be just right for him to do so, though. Honestly, he just hasn't felt any interesting spark or consuming interest for people in this way yet. He's found he definitely leans more towards men, though.

You've gotta want it as badly as me - if you can match me, that is~
┤Likes├
┤Plants├─Myut loves plants. He has no clue where the fascination originated from, but ever since he was a young little skulk he's always been enamored with them. The inside of his residence is very vibrantly green with many hanging plants, trees, and vines. He has one small outdoor greenhouse that is adjacent from the window of his study, but otherwise the outside of his home is just as red and dreary as the rest of hell.
┤Material Possessions├─Lord, don't get Mew started about things. Anything you can imagine, he probably has it. He's led like a bull by its ring in terms of his sin of greed, so to possess, hoard, and discover is the highest joy of his life. It can be quite likened to a drug high or obsession. He's a greedy bastard, and anything that catches his eye has to be his, period. Despite the unending need to have, though, his abode is kept fairly tidy. He takes advantage of a lot of vertical space and shelving, and his collection is always changing as he finds new, more interesting things to replace old ones in trade. His most precious items (or rather ones he hasn't found a good enough replacement for yet) are kept in a large room in his dwelling, with display cases as well as other organizational and viewing means - much like a little private museum. This is kept under lock and key, and he always finds time in his day to stop by and admire what he has. His soul cherishes filling the gaping hole within him this way. Shiny things, unusual things, oddities, baubles, colorful threads, totems, etc. He loves history, and nothing is better than being able to handle and possess a little piece of it. He's well-known for being the go-to guy for gathering human and demon items alike. The thing that probably trumps all others, however, is his adoration for books. If it's not a space for items in his residence, it's a space for books. He has quite the menagerie of tomes, with a sprawling library. His favorite past time is reading.
┤Knowledge├─Information, secrets, hidden things, history, science, ancient languages, math. Even stronger than his need for the physical is his need to possess the intangible - knowledge. As mentioned above, reading is his favorite past time, with many, many an hour dedicated to it. Trading, gaining, or learning information is how he thrives the most in his business. If someone knows something, he has to know it too. It is unacceptable otherwise. He especially delights in secrets, and is fairly known by other demons as the guy to go to in order to get the scoop on something or someone. He's not world-famous or anything, but his network of acquaintances spans across the entirety of hell. So if you were to ask around, you might hear his name mentioned, especially when in his neck of the woods. He's an information broker, but he can have a bit of a haughty nature when it comes to what is his, so one would need to have something worthwhile for him to be willing to make a trade. And by 'worthwhile', that's up to the fanciful whims of this greed demon. You could offer him a sack of gold and he might turn his nose up at it, but if you've got a cool button, he's gotta have that. Honestly, he's not particularly monetarily motivated in general.
┤Hobbies├
┤Collecting├─Surprise, surprise. Go figure. Myut loves collecting a plethora of different things. 'Collection' is really only an appropriate term for his books, though, as those are the ones he keeps and hoards like a dragon. Items can come and go, but to get Mew to part with his precious paper....
┤Reading├─ It comes with the territory of having so many books. He's more interested in applicable knowledge, though, so he tends to stay away from the generic story. As for specific genres, he dislikes fantasy and most fiction, seeing it as a waste of time. Myut can't stand the horror genre, but that's a secret.
┤Gardening├─Seems like a weird thing for a demon to do. For most, it's a sign of status or wealth, but for Meu it's just a passion for him. He likes plants. Human plants, more specifically. Soft leaves and trees and ferns and stuff. Green things. He also has a bit of a soft spot for sunshine, though it isn't very common for him to get to enjoy it on earth. He has some artificial lights set up in his greenhouse to mimic the vibrancy and warmth of the Sun's rays. His favorite thing to do is sit in front of one of the windows to his greenhouse in his home, snatch a sweater, cuddle up on a cushion, and read. Maybe with some nice cinnamon tea. He also likes sound boxes with natural noises. Nothing like the purring of a hellhound and the chirping of some earth birds to soothe one's heart.
┤Dislikes├
┤Magnanimity├─It's the direct opposite of his nature, so of course he hates the idea of 'generosity'. He shudders at the thought. Nothing in life is free, and he sure as hell isn't giving any handouts. Taking, however....
┤The Cold├─This greed demon despises the cold. He's terrible at it, utterly can't stand it. He becomes a chattering mess in no time flat, so he avoids a lot of places on earth. As such, he almost always refuses to find things in any cold climates, unless it's really worth it. Anytime he has to go venture out somewhere frosty, he bundles himself up till he's just one big blob of waddling clothing. Fortunately, hell is a very hot place. This isn't to say that Myut is particularly susceptible to general cold - he still likes ice cream, and the occasional cold shower if he needs it, or air conditioning. Just being in a place that's uncomfortably cold. He hates catching colds or sneezing.
┤The Cold├─Myut does not do well with competition. There's no such thing as it being friendly, either. While it is a very sweet delight to come out on top, he can't help but find it irking that someone else is going head to head for something he's got his eyes set on.6
┤Fears├
┤Poverty├─This is a big one for any demon of greed. To be completely without. Wealth, possessions, affections. Perhaps this is why Myut likes information so much - it can't be taken quite as easily as physical things. His possessions are precious to him - they're the only thing that seem to fill that inky void. So to rip all he's accumulated within would be an absolute devastation. He's scared that without, it will devour him. That he'll lose himself. Lose his purpose.
┤Atychiphobia├─Myut can't stand the idea of failing. To not get his hands on exactly what he wants. For something to be kept from him or out of his grasp. He has to fill that void.
┤Batrachophobia├─NO FROGS.
┤Plants├─Myut loves plants. He has no clue where the fascination originated from, but ever since he was a young little skulk he's always been enamored with them. The inside of his residence is very vibrantly green with many hanging plants, trees, and vines.
I stare into the void, and the void stares back. It cries for buttons.
┤History├
Myut came from pretty humble origins to a family name not well known, and he’s stayed happily in that sort of obscurity. He’s never really been interested in the social hierarchy of hell since he prefers to be alone with his own things, and he has seemed to manage well without a name. Born to two greed demons, this boy has got that full possessiveness running through his veins. He has no idea how his parents managed to hook up, since most greed demons don’t get along too well, but it probably had something to do with some altruistic joining of their collections and reaching new heights (hoards *cough*) together.
He was quite the disobedient and mischievous little child, always getting himself into trouble in pursuit of his ‘earthly’ desires, and his parents wholly encouraged it. Myut has always had quite the mind of his own, and no one’s quite sure what makes it tick. The little trio got along well enough while he was small, with both his parents dragging him along on their adventures for gain, though Myut wasn’t very interested in their avocations as his greedy desires were much different to theirs. His mother was a fairly clingy individual who loved wealth and people, whereas his father was obsessed with strength and the material. Myut takes after his father in this manner, though his father had a specific, impressive genre of collectibles he sought, whereas Meu has always been led by his flitting, inexplicable yearnings sparked by the eyes. He’s always wondered what, if anything, he inherited from his mother, since he honestly can’t think of a single thing they shared other than being greed demons.
Unable to quite remember when it started – sometime during the very early stages of his youth, surely – for some reason, Myut has always felt increasingly empty. Almost unbearably so. It was different to the kind of greed that his mother or father felt, he discovered, and he was desperate to escape this hounding feeling of the void. Neither of his parents had an answer for him. They were baffled by it, honestly. They had never seen something quite so tangled either. Myut found that the only thing that would temporarily stave off the painful feeling was to accumulate, and to accumulate fast. But it was never enough.
Due mainly to the severe differences in delights-to-possess coupled with the eventual need to spread his own wings, Mew was off on his own as soon as he was able. This didn’t come as a surprise, seeing as, one, every greed demon needs to start their own hoard since they can’t stand the idea of sharing, and two, most are solitary beings to begin with. This was certainly true for Myut, and at the age he set off, his parents couldn’t care less to see him go. Such is the nature of demons. Especially those without popular family names or social responsibilities.
However, suddenly finding himself on his own without the crutch of his parents’ things to fill him, Myut grew increasingly desperate to fill the void. He needed to start his own collection, and fast. So with this unending urge to possess – heightened by the threat of the void – Myut’s early history had always been on a sharp learning curve. His desire often got himself into trouble resulting in quite the collection of scrapes and the odd scar or two, poking his nose around where it didn’t belong. He just couldn’t help himself; if he saw something he wanted, he had to have it. It was the only way to push off the emptiness. Because of this, in the beginning, the greed demon was a bit of a klepto and had a bad habit of just taking things. This track record, however, proved to be increasingly and quickly lethal, as he got into trouble with some very powerful demons early on. After one particularly disastrously invigorating affair, Myut realized that if he wanted to survive to hoard another day, he was going to need to make some changes. It helped immensely that by this time he had a small assemblage of things to fall back on and nurse the void. He felt less panicked and rushed to amass things as abruptly as possible. Thus, he quickly learned to mellow, and swiftly found a taste for the refined.
Meu’s always been especially interested in learning things and possessing knowledge, as this seems to be the most effective means of feeling ‘full’. Less temporary and longer-lasting than the whims of items, which many could be easily replaced for something more interesting. This isn’t to say that he doesn’t have certain items he absolutely adores as the true shining treasures of his wealth, though. Myut loves things. Any greed demon does. But when it comes to the driving need for why he feels he has to have, knowledge seems to feed it best. This is probably why he can trade many physical things from his collection with ease.
Nowadays, Myut runs a business in trading and seeking. He isn’t incredibly well-known by many, but he has made a sort of pseudo-name for himself with those he has served. Regaled with praise in comparison to every other greed demon in the business, Myut has always been able to provide results for his clients, and those results as highly satisfactory. He can be likened to one of the bests in the business, but a trade secret. Most demons, including himself, seem to like to keep it that way too. After all, how are they supposed to use him if he’s taken by others, and how is Myut supposed to enjoy his own greed if he doesn’t have the time?
However small now though, the void still remains, gnawing quietly behind the scenes and only sparking into frenzy when he sees something he has to have. He’s still trying to fill it, to satiate it, but he still hasn’t found what will do that.
Guess he's on a lifelong mission to figure it out. Meu doesn't think he'll ever be able to satisfy that thing though. Nothing is ever quite enough. It’s truly maddening. That isn’t to say that he doesn’t enjoy his greedy needs to the fullest. It fills him with utter delight to possess and have. He just needs more and more and more is all, apparently.
